The University of New Brunswick Fredericton welcomes applications for the position of Integrated Marketing Manager with the Marketing Office. This is a continuing full-time (36.25 hours per week) position with the APT employee group. The position is funded by the University Budget with a salary range of $54,781 - $71,219 per annum.
The Marketing Office is responsible for directing all corporate marketing, branding, creative and digital media strategies across the university. The office oversees institutional marketing policies, procedures, strategies and plans that advance the university's vision, mission and reputation. Members of the office work in close collaboration with senior leaders and other university units across both campuses to develop and execute measurable strategies, marketing plans, initiatives and tactics.
Position summary:
- Lead a team of four marketing professionals that is collectively responsible for developing, executing, monitoring and measuring all institutional integrated marketing initiatives and projects and serving as a central marketing services-unit.
- Supervise workloads of the Integrated team; manage and allocate special projects to appropriate team members.
- Offer guidance, support and mentorship to the Integrated Marketing team by discovering training needs and providing coaching and mentorship.
- Revise, review, develop and implement internal and external processes and workflows for managing marketing requests, plans and projects in partnership with the Integrated team and Creative and Digital teams.
- Implement a data-driven culture within the Integrated Marketing team by including data, metrics and reports into marketing plans. Lead the reporting of the Integrated Marketing Team's performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Creative Manager to implement the Marketing Office Strategic Plan.
- Manage the development of messaging matrix/architectures for each faculty and large service units, crucial to the establishment of a cohesive marketing outreach strategy.
- Actively participate in the development of integrated advertising strategies for the institution.
- Play a lead role in campaign goal setting, creative process, quantitative and qualitative research, proof point collection, stakeholder engagement, implementation, measurement and reporting.
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing-related discipline or other relevant experience.
- Management experience is required or other relevant experience.
- Experience in devising and leading marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns.
- Experience in strategic planning.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical skills related to marking including social media, digital marketing, online advertising, market measurement, etc.
