The University of New Brunswick Fredericton welcomes applications for the position of Program Delivery Officer with the College of Extended Learning. This is a 3-year term full-time (36.25 hours per week) position with the PTSU employee group. The position is funded by the University Budget with a salary range of $37,304 - $46,631 per annum.
Reporting to the Director, the Program Delivery Officer provides administrative coordination of the New Brunswick Critical Care Nursing program, and other assigned programs. The incumbent will work effectively in a bilingual environment with partners, and provide student and instructor support. The position is responsible for learner and delivery support for planning, organizing and coordinating the activities and resources of the programs.

Position summary:
- Act as first point of contact with instructors and students and provide support.
- Set NBCCNP schedule (calendar, orientation video con & online delivery sessions, committee meetings and pd etc.).
- Coordinate relevant program steering and education committee meetings including minutes, logistics, and document distribution.
- Coordinate operational activities as well as teaching and learning resources for assigned programs in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Advise on budget and monitor expenditures.
- Update marketing tools & application form, lead application screening through the Education Committee.
- Manage and coordinate online learner environment to ensure student and instructor success.
- Discern and troubleshoot student problems and issues, refer to relevant individual (s), guide response and ensure follow up.
- Collaborate with the Universite de Moncton for consistency in program delivery through both institutions.
- Liaise with stakeholders and developers on new curriculum and curriculum improvements to meet their changing needs.
- Conduct program evaluations, summarize and make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide written reports with recommendations to implement solutions.
- Initiate and maintain effective communication of program updates and changes with all key program stakeholders.
- Represent the College to internal and external communities; participate in other initiatives within the Unit as assigned.
Requirements/Skills:
- University degree in Adult Education, Education, Business Administration or other related discipline or a College diploma in a business or administration. 1 -3 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with up-to-date distance delivery systems, methods and applications.
- Spoken and written competency in English and French is required.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be well organized, able to handle many tasks at once.
- Proven ability to exercise judgement, show initiative and demonstrate planning abilities to identify and solve problems.
- Proven ability with computers and software (word processing, spreadsheets, and databases) is essential; experience with Microsoft Office, CRM, D2L Brightspace.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
