Membership:  2013-2014

(3-year terms, term expiring 30 June of year in brackets)

(a)  Purposes

1. To Serve as a broad forum to discuss and share information on:

   1. the short- and ling-term budget outlook,

   2. trends in revenues and expenditures (including fixed costs and discretionary expenditures),

   3. comparisons with competing universities and other relevant providers of post-secondary education and research,

   4. The establishment of campus -wide priorities for both operating and capital budgets, and 

   5. actions required to achieve University operating plans and financial targets;

2. To act as a sounding board and source of advice for the development of integrated financial projections and proposals for the Fredericton campus budget, including budget policies, allocations and reallocations. 

(b) Membership (40)

• includes members of the Management Advisory Council (MAC)

• plus four students (2 undergraduate, 1 graduate, 1 mature)

• and four faculty members (2 appointed by Senate - should be non-Dean)
