Orebro University

Orebro University is located in central Sweden, approximately halfway between Stockholm and Goteborg. It is easily accessible by major roads, railways and by air.

The city of Orebro has grown around a medieval castle. The Castle is to this day the centre point of Orebro and actively serves as residence for the County Governor and as a venue for conferences, celebrations and exhibitions.

There are 16,000 students and courses of various disciplines are offered in English.

Academics

At Orebro University, most courses are studied one at a time consecutively. The courses can vary in length from 5, 10 to 20 credit points. Normally a student takes a full-time course of 5 credit points/7.5 ECTS credits, for five weeks and the examination is within that time. When the course is completed the student continues with the next course for five weeks. See also the student handbook.
