Testimonial from a past student
"I arrived in Ingolstadt with no knowledge of the language, don't let this stop you from experiencing another country. You'll find that you are able to get along without knowing the language at first, but after your classes have started up, and you’ve attended the weekly beer garden party, you will pick up on the basics such as "thank you", "please", "can I have one of those". If you attempt to speak the language people are much more willing to help!
My term in Ingolstadt was undoubtedly the best 5 months of my university life! If you have the chance to participate in the study abroad program, you will not regret it! You will meet so many people, become aware of other cultures, and throughout all of this you will enjoy every moment of it! There is so much to do and see in not only Germany but Europe is right at your finger tips! I connot express how much I loved my time at Fachhochschule Ingoslstadt, living in a residence with 15 other students from around the world, attending the fabulous festivals and concerts, even driving a "Mini" on the autobahn."
