Online TESL Certificate

NCTESL 4446

The Online TESL Certificate is a non-credit professional development program designed for individuals already teaching English as a second or foreign language or those interested in becoming qualified to do so who want to develop a solid foundation in language teaching.

Specifically, this program will equip participants with the knowledge, strategies, and skills required to teach English as an additional language while also emphasizing the teaching of English via content (e.g. social studies, science, etc.) and how to face the inherent challenges of such teaching contexts.

The Online TESL Certificate was designed and will be delivered by Dr. Paul Émile Chiasson, former Education Coordinator for the Faculty of Arts at UNB Saint John and a seasoned teaching professional. Dr. Chiasson holds the highest level of professional certification granted by TESL Canada.
