One-day workshop
In this session board members learn about key systems or practices
that promote board effectiveness. What constitutes good governance
evolves with the changing circumstances.
Adherence to leading practices
evidences a commitment to appropriate stewardship, and may reduce an
organization's exposure to risk. In this session board members learn
about practices that promote board effectiveness including: clearly
defined roles and responsibilities, focus on strategic priorities,
agenda planning, board committee structures, risk oversight and
evaluating board performance.
