Prepares students for the workplace
Intended for students who don’t want to take on a full Pre-MBA course load, Saint John College offers Business English and Culture as a standalone component to prepare them for the real demands found in any workplace.
Students learn the professional ins and outs of writing:
- memos
- news summaries
- article analysis
- case studies
- business reports
- seminar discussions
- oral presentations
Students also interview community leaders and tour industrial sites to develop a better understanding of Canadian business practices.
This program can also be offered to international corporations looking to provide their employees with specific language skills for business purposes either on-campus at UNB Saint John or off site.
