Explore the nursing profession, from community nursing to emergency care, through a blend of academic excellence and professional experience.
Our campus is located next to New Brunswick’s largest health care facility, the Saint John Regional Hospital (SJRH).
As the province’s main trauma and heart care centre, it is also the largest teaching hospital in NB. Your clinical care practicum at the SJRH will give you the valuable real-world experience you're looking for.
From the intricate work in a surgical room to the practical guidance offered to new parents, we'll help you bring your nursing degree to life.

What to expect
Year 1 introduces the profession of nursing and emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention. In the Winter term, students engage in a wellness focused clinical practice.
Year 2 consists of supportive care in areas of chronic and mental health challenges. Students also focus on health promotion and preventative care during the childrearing years.
Year 3 incorporates acute care issues and practice with individuals and families. Students learn to identify, critique, synthesize, and integrate evidence into practice.
Year 4 includes leadership, theory and practice in health policy, community development and population health.
