Let's Talk Science

May 9, 2013: 8 am - 4:30 pm

Let's Talk Science is an award-winning, national, non-profit, science outreach organization. It creates and delivers science learning programs and services that turn children and youth on to science, keep them engaged in learning and develop their potential to become 21st century citizens, innovators and stewards.

Let's Talk Science is dedicated to improving science literacy in Canada. Since 1993, Let's Talk Science has excited, inspired and engaged more than 2 million children, youth, educators and volunteers in science, engineering and technology.

The UNB Saint John site was created in 2011 and engages youth across the Anglophone South School District. Each year we host the All Science Challenge, an exciting and fun-filled national science enrichment event involving a question and answer competition and hands-on challenges for teams of Grade 6, 7 and 8 students. Our volunteers can also participate as judges in the Fundy Regional Science Fair.

On May 9, 12 teams from the Greater Saint John area will gather at UNB Saint John to compete in a Let's Talk Science competition.
