144 students named to 2008-2009 dean's list
The Faculty of Science, Applied Science, and Engineering (SASE) of the University of New Brunswick Saint John has recently released their Dean's List for the 2008-2009 academic year.
There are 144 students in the Faculty that achieved Dean's List standing for the past academic year. Fifty nine students are from the Bachelor of Science program (BSc), one is from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program (BScCS), one is from the Bachelor of Information Science program (BISc), sixteen students are from the Bachelor of Science in Engineering program (BSE), sixty students are from the Bachelor of Nursing program (BN), and seven are from the Bachelor of Health Sciences program (BHS).
The Dean's List for SASE varies slightly from year to year, but generally has around the same number of students on it each time. It is an honour to be on the Dean's list, and shows how hard-working the students in the SASE faculty are. The University is also very proud to have such a large number of students on the Dean's List for the Science, Applied Science and Engineering Faculty each year.
Each Faculty of The University of New Brunswick publicly recognizes its students for superior academic performance by publishing a Dean's list in each faculty of the University. To be included on the Dean's List, students must meet certain criteria: assessment grade point average of 3.7 or higher (grade point averages are calculated in May of each year but only if twenty four credit hours have been attempted since the last grade point average was recorded), must be enrolled in a degree, diploma, or certificate program to be considered for the Dean's List.
