Dr. Enrico DiTommaso
Dr. Enrico DiTommaso is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Brunswick Saint John.
He received his PhD from the University of New Brunswick, and his BA from McGill. Dr. DiTommaso became a faculty member in the Department of Psychology in 1997. He has been the Director of Graduate Studies, and is currently the Department Chair. He teaches and supervises students at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Dr. DiTommaso's major research interests are in the area of attachment and well-being. He is currently working on understanding the mechanisms associated with the development and maintenance of healthy relationships within an attachment theory framework in late adolescence and adulthood.
Other research interests include measurement, scale construction, and survey methodology. More recently his research has also focused on uncovering psychological factors predictive of wellness outcomes in both the general population and individuals with neurological disorders.
