How the plan works

Cooking in residenceThe meal plan and flex dollars are on a declining balance meal plan.

Students are given the value of their meal plan or flex dollar choice on a meal card.  This card may be used at either the cafeteria in the Thomas J. Condon Student Centre or the Tim Hortons coffee shop located in the Ward Chipman Library Building.

The value of the purchase is deducted from the meal card. Purchases are made until the entire amount is used. Students are encouraged to ensure that they spend the entire meal plan as any balance remaining at the end of April is non-refundable.

If a student leaves university at the end of December and has a balance on their meal plan, this amount is also non-refundable.

If a student runs out of money on their meal plan before the term ends, they can add money by submitting payment in $25 increments to the Aramark staff.
