Choosing your meal plan
All students living in residence must choose between either the available meal plan or flex dollar plans for their residence, and all students must submit a Meal Plan contract.
Depending on what Residence you live in will provide you with your available options for meal plans. There is only one choice for students in the Dunn Residence and it is a tax-free meal plan. Students in the Mackay Residence have kitchenettes and can choose from having the meal plan, flex dollars or cooking for themselves. Even if you decide to cook for yourself living in the Mackay you still must have a flex dollar plan.
Mackay Residence students can choose not to have a meal plan because they can cook for themselves. If you are interested in having the majority of your meals provided for you, you can choose the same meal plan that the Dunn Residence students and have the tax-free meal plan.
It is important to choose your meal options wisely and once activated it can not be changed. If you have questions about what meal option choice is best for you please contact the residence office to have your questions answered prior to choosing.
The meal plan and flex dollar choices are non-refundable and once you choose your plan you will be required to pay the full amount. If you leave residence you will not get a refund on the meal plan.
