Due to being 100% occupation, room changes are discouraged and are solely at the discretion of the Residence Life Coordinator.  Room changes are prohibited until October.

If you are having issues with your roommate, you are asked to speak to your roommate about it.  If you find this uncomfortable you may have your RA facilitate and mediate a meeting between the both of you.  The majority of roommate issues are resolved simply by speaking to your roommate-which many people initially find difficult.

If the problem persists, you are asked to speak to your RA, who may place you on a roommate agreement with your roommate.  Whoever breaks the agreement may be forced to move.

It is a good idea when you first meet your roommate to get to know them.  Find out if you can share each other's food, if you will grocery shop together, or split the fridge in half.  Can they use your cups, plates and utensils?  Your hairdryer, etc?  These may seem like silly questions, but almost all roommate issues are caused by these little things that, when left un talked about, cause bigger issues down the road!!
