Reserving regalia
Graduates participating in the Convocation Ceremony must wear university regalia. To reserve regalia, all graduands must submit their request online using the robe regalia online reservation system. The deadline to reserve regalia for the ceremony is Friday, April 30, 2010. Please note that since the gowns are open in the front, what you wear underneath will be visible.
A $60 fee [paid either by cash or a personal cheque made payable to UNB] is required when you pick up your regalia; This fee includes the $35 rental fee and a $25 deposit. The $25 deposit will be refunded upon the return of the regalia. The gown and hood are to be returned; the cap and tassel are yours to keep as a memento. Non-return of gowns and hoods immediately following the May 21st ceremony will result in borrowers forfeiting their $25 deposit and be required to pay replacement costs.
