Activities
Thursday, October 24
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Rehearsal - All those receiving degrees at the ceremony are required to attend the rehearsal. Led by the Student Marshal, the rehearsal provides graduates with instructions and information not only on their role in what can be a rather complex pattern of events during the actual ceremony, but on topics such as the proper way to wear academic regalia as well as the degree-granting process.
It is essential graduates attend rehearsal. Convocation cards, which each graduate must present as he/she crosses the stage for the reading of his/her name to take place, are also distributed at rehearsal. The rehearsal will take place in the Ganong Hall Lecture Theatre.
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Tickets (four per graduate) will be available for pick up at the entrance to the Ganong Hall Lecture Theatre.
You may also pick up tickets the day of convocation at the Imperial Theatre from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. We encourage students to take advantage of the pickup time on October 24.

All tickets will be available for pick up as noted above.
Photos during the ceremony
We ask you to encourage your guests not to block the aisles when taking photos during the ceremony. We strongly recommend that you wait until after the ceremony and use the stage for photographs.
Won't be able to attend the ceremony?
If you are unable to attend the ceremony, please let us know. Your diploma will be available on the first business day immediately following the Convocation Ceremony through the UNB Saint John Office of the Registrar, Oland Hall Room 141.
Arrangements can be made to pick up your parchment, or have it mailed to you. Diplomas designated as 'to be picked up' will only be held at the Office of the Registrar for three weeks after the ceremony. They will then be mailed to the graduate's address which appears on the online application to graduate form.
