Right decision
"It was quite a big decision for me to leave my country - Japan - right after my high school graduation and travel overseas to attend university.
But I wanted to be fluent in English and to obtain a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
I was in the 3+1 BAMHT program which has offered a great variety of experience and learning.
What I really liked about UNBSJ was that each class had a small number of students. I used to sit in the front row of every class, ask questions and answer what professors asked so they would remember me.
After graduating from the Bachelor of Applied Management in Hospitality and Tourism program in May 2008, I now work at the Best Western Saint John Hotel and Suites.
I am glad that I made the decision to seek a degree at UNBSJ. My career path has just started and I am looking forward to my future."
