Specialize or generalize - that is your choice
What is a minor & when do I start one?
Minors are like majors but require fewer courses.
Students choose a number of electives from one or two specific areas of studies. BBA students are not required to take a minor; however, they have the option of taking a minor or a combination of them to expand their specific interests.
Conversely, to determine what their strongest interests are, students should first take a few courses in the different areas available before deciding to minor in specialized areas of studies.
Minors require from 5 - 8 elective courses and students must obtain grades of C or better in all courses taken towards a minor.
Regularly, all minors start in year two or three of the program, however, some minors require students to take specific courses in their first year.
