Hadi Eslaminosratabadi, MBA, PhD Candidate in Marketing (McMaster University)

Lecturer in Marketing

Hadi Eslaminosratabadi joined the University of New Brunswick Saint John in July 2017 as Lecturer in Marketing. He holds degrees in Marketing (an MBA in Multimedia & Marketing) and Electrical Engineering. During his tenure as a Ph.D. candidate at McMaster University, Mr. Eslaminosratabadi taught marketing and tutored students at both undergraduate and MBA levels. In this role, he won the McMaster University Excellence in Teaching Assistance Award.

Mr. Eslaminosratabadi has supervised undergraduate students on their real-life marketing projects with local small businesses. Hadi is keen to teach a vast spectrum of marketing courses; from introductory courses in Marketing, Consumer Motivation (Behaviour), and Service Marketing to Applied Marketing Management and Marketing Research & Methods; and from Innovation and New Product Development to Small Business Management.

Hadi Eslaminosratabadi’s research expertise lies in marketing strategies, innovation and management of New Product Development (NPD), and interorganizational research. He conducts empirical research at the interface of Innovation Strategies and Interorganizational research—with a focus on small firms’ new product performance having managed their interfirm relationships with various partners along the process of product development process.

Mr. Eslaminosratabadi has also conducted research in Consumer Incivility and Aggression, Marketing Channels, and Hotels’ Corporate Social Responsibilities. He has presented his research at several conferences such as American Marketing Association (AMA) and Institute for the Studies of Business Markets (ISBM).

A select few of Hadi’s academic recognitions include Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Fellowship, the McMaster University Teaching Assistant Excellence Awards, International Excellence Award, and Best Conference Paper Award.
