Assistant Dean

Brenda CollingsBrenda Collings, Assistant Dean, Undergraduate programs and Student Relations, joined the Faculty of Business in the fall of 2007 and is a member of the Accounting Group. 

She teaches Accounting for Managers I, Accounting for Managers II, Intermediate Accounting I, and Managerial Finance. 

Prior to joining the Univeristy of New Brunswick Saint John she was Town Manager for the Town of Hampton, District Manager for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) Saint John office, an Account Manager for ACOA in Halifax, N.S. and began her career with Deloitte’s in Halifax where she obtained her CA designation.  Brenda has an MBA from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.

She previously had taught on a part-time basis at Dalhousie University, the Technical University of Nova Scotia (TUNS), and Rothesay Netherwood School.

Brenda is a member of the Faculty Assessment Committee, is currently Chair of the Faculty’s OREO competition, and participates in the COOP program as the Work Term Report Evaluator.

Volunteer activities

Brenda’s current volunteer activities include Hampton Minor Hockey Association, the Hampton Alliance for Lifelong Learning, Rothesay Netherwood School, and Hampton Middle School.
