4th yr with the Seawolves

Heather started playing basketball when she was only 5 years old. She played sports throughout her school days and played for the Seawolves for two seasons before missing last season because of an injury.

She has made a remarkable comeback this season. She played for the Seawolves soccer team in the fall and that gave her confidence that she had made a full recovery mentally and physically from the injury.
Heather's favourite part of basketball is "being competitive and being part of a team".

Heather has been active away from the sports as well. She was on the her high school student council and has received numerous awards including the Governor Thomas Carleton Scholarship, UNBSJ Campus Scholarship and the Colter Family Bursary.

"I'm looking forward to just getting back to playing after missing last season."
