2012-2013 Schedule
January 13, 2013 - Jillian Breen, See Sound. Imagine you have just heard your favorite song. What images, colours and shapes come to your mind when you truly listen? All are welcome to seek the images within sound with Saint John artist Jillian Breen and Lorenzo Arts Society Sunday, January 13 from 2 pm to 4 pm in the UNB Saint John Faculty Staff Lounge (located on the ground floor of the Ward Chipman Library Building). See Sound, a presentation of Breen's series of abstract links-to-music explores the flows, shapes and figures that come to mind while listening to works from both classical and contemporary music. With musical guest, guitarist Nick Reid.
February 17, 2013 - Graeme Stewart-Robertson, The Geographic Project. What catches your eye and your imagination when you look to nature? Where would you place the frame? Saint John photographer, Graeme Stewart-Robertson, answered these qustions by carrying a 70-pound frame into natural spaces, turning the photographic eye to the bounds and boundlessness of the Canadian outdoors with his series, The Geographic Project. All are welcome to explore the joys and wonders of nature's boundaries as the Lorenzo Arts Society presents The Geographic Project, with an opening reception and refreshments Sunday, February 17 from 2 pm to 4 pm in the UNB Saint John Faculty Staff Lounge (located on the ground floor of the Ward Chipman Library Building).
