The Lorenzo Society at UNB Saint John sponsors an impressive selection of cultural entertainment.
We organize poetry readings for students and visiting authors, present exhibits in the Art Gallery (Ward Chipman Library Building), and publish the student literary journal VOX.
We also arrange performances by the Saint John String Quartet, UNB Saint John's Musicians-in-Residence.
For more information, contact Andrea Kikuchi.
The Lorenzo Society reading series sponsors readings by major Canadian authors and typically takes place at 7 p.m. on the UNB Saint John campus. Admission is free.
Sponsored by the Lorenzo Society, UNB Saint John and ArtsNB, our music series includes noon-hour concerts and a master class by the Saint John String Quartet, musicians-in-residence of the university since 1991.
Vox is UNB Saint John's annually published magazine of creative works, providing a venue for the talent and voice of our student body to express itself. This is a student-run publication, made possible through the help of the Lorenzo Society, the dedication of the Vox team, and of course the readers and writers of Vox. Our editors this year are Norah Emerson and Rachel Friars.
