Dr. Mustapha Ibn Boamah
Mustapha Ibn Boamah is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Social Science at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John.
He completed his BSc at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, then his MSc at University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK, and his PhD from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK. His research fields include development economics, macroecomics and monetary economics.
Having previously taught at Nottingham Trent University and Kaplan International College in England, Mustapha came to UNB Saint John to teach economics in 2010. His current research focuses on monetary policy transmission mechanism, inflation and exchange rate dynamics.
He is a member of the Canadian Economic Association and the Development Studies Association.
