The number of positions available in this program are limited and, therefore, restricted to students with a B- (2.7) average or higher after their first year of full-time study. Students must apply for the co-op program no later than Friday, June 30, 2017. This will be after completion of at least 8 term-courses but not more than 20 term courses. Notification of students’ acceptance to the program will be given in early August.

By applying, you understand that you meet the criteria for the BA co-op option admission and that you are required to attend and complete the 3-day professional development (PD) workshop September 5, 6 and 8, 2017. Completion of these workshops is mandatory in order to be accepted into the BA co-op option program.

  1. By taking part in the BA co-op option program, you will graduate with 12 months of work experience on your resume, as you will have the opportunity to complete three separate work terms. This can be a huge advantage in your job search upon graduation.
  2. Co-op students receive invaluable professional development that is only available to you as a UNB Saint John co-op student. You also will have access to online co-op job postings and receive one-on-one support throughout your program.
  3. You can complete your co-op option and still complete your degree in four years.
  4. You will be paid for each of you three work terms, which can give you the chance to graduate with little or no student debt!
