W. Stewart MacNutt Memorial Lecture
The annual W. Stewart MacNutt Memorial Lecture honours the late historian, professor and humanitarian for his many contributions to UNB and to the development of Atlantic Canadian history as a field of study.
New Brunswick: Cradle of Confederation will be presented by Professor Emeritus (Canadian Studies) Ged Martin of the University of Edinburgh. Professor Martin is a widely-published author on the history of leading Commonwealth countries, an Honorary Fellow at Hughes Hall, a graduate College of the University of Cambridge, and an honorary Adjunct Professor of History at both the National University of Ireland Galway and the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia.
The 2014 Lecture will be held at UNB Saint John on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 5:30 pm in Oland Hall Room 104.
