NSERC

Templates for Free-Form Application Attachments

The MS Word templates presented here are intended to assist UNB researchers in preparing the free-form sections of their NSERC application by establishing appropriate margins, header and footers, font, and section titles. Please refer to the NSERC website (http://www.nserc-crsng.gc.ca/) for program descriptions, application forms and procedures, detailed attachment instructions, competition guidelines, and deadlines.

Common instructions:

  • Delete red text when complete - this is meant to flag special instructions (e.g., page limits).
  • Replace "Name" with your name and "PIN" with your PIN in the header of documents containing those terms.
  • Feel free to use custom sub-headings suited to your research under the main section headings indicated.
