Staff
The BMI Lab is overseen by the Laboratory Director, Dr. Allen Curry. The lab has full-time staff with complement of summer and graduate students.

Dr. Allen Curry has an Hons. B.E.S. from the University of Waterloo an M.Sc. from Trent University and a Ph.D. from Guelph. He is also Director of the CRI, Professor of Biology and Forestry & Environmental Management, a New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources/Cloverleaf Professor of Recreational Fisheries Research and Assistant Director, New Brunswick Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit.

Lisa Baird has been a key member of the Benthic Lab team since May, 2006, having previously worked as a technician at the University of Calgary. Her primary focus is the classification and quantification of various invertebrate taxa submitted under the CABIN program.

Adam Bliss has a BSc Hons. in Biology from the University of New Brunswick and has been working with the CRI since 2008. His main focus in the benthic lab is the classification and quantification of various invertebrate taxa with a focus on EPT orders. He has also been developing a reference collection for the province of New Brunswick.
