ACOA - Atlantic Innovation Fund Projects

In 2002, CNER was awarded a 5 year project funded by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency's Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF) titled “The Process System Corrosion Mitigation Technology Project”.   This AIF Project was a $5.75 million collaborative research and development project which resulted in two new corrosion monitors – the ECPro™ and the HEPro™.  AIF Project collaborators included NB Power, COG, AECL, ANS Technologies, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, UNB and RPC.   

Both the ECPro™ and HEPro™ have been proven successful in nuclear installations. ECPro™ and HEPro™corrosion monitors are equipped with complete data-collection, control and display systems and they are also conveniently compatible with any customer’s computer system.
