FACULTY OF LAW
Over the next few years, the Faculty of Law
anticipates having several tenure stream positions to replace retiring faculty.
We currently invite applications for up to two tenure stream appointments at
the Assistant Professor level, and up to two term positions, all to take effect
on 1 July 2010. All positions are
subject to budgetary approval.
The Faculty welcomes applications from outstanding
scholars of diverse perspectives and will consider an appointment in any field
of expertise. Candidates will have a
strong academic record and will have or will be completing a graduate degree(s)
in law or a related discipline. They
will have a record of or potential for excellence in teaching and research.
UNB’s Faculty of Law is a collegial community with a
deep commitment to its 240 students. We
pride ourselves on having one of the most structured LL.B. programs in
Canada. All faculty members contribute
to and are committed to sustaining our core curriculum which includes
compulsory courses in all three years.
