Newsletters

Aside from this website, Newsletters are the Division leaders' primary means of communicating information to the membership. The Planetary Geology Division typically publishes two or three newsletters per year, which are sent to most members via e-mail. The first is issued soon after the annual Lunar and Planetary Science conference in the spring. A second newsletter is issued in the fall a month or so before the annual GSA meeting, and a third is published after the GSA meeting. Newsletters contain calls for award nominations and meeting abstracts, announcements of upcoming meetings, ballot and officer candidate information, announcements of award recipients, meeting photos, award speeches, and other important news and information. The Division leaders welcome your feedback, and invite members to submit letters or short articles for the newsletter.
