She is the Director of the Canadian observatory on the justice system response to intimate partner violence. She is presently conducting the evaluation of the Provincial Court – Domestic Violence in Moncton. Her areas of expertise are in the fields of family, social policy, third sector studies, and violence against women. She is involved in different SSHRC funded research projects related to human service delivery by the non-profit sector as well as on the community and justice response to intimate partner violence.
