UNB Fredericton's McLeod House was evacuated early Tuesday evening due to a small fire on the fourth floor. None of the 130 residents were hurt.

The fire was extinguished by the sprinkler system, and firefighters were quickly on site to secure the building.

Residents were allowed back in the building later Tuesday night.

The fire started due to a cooking accident.
