The dean of the faculty of science, applied science and engineering at the University of New Brunswick Saint John honoured 135 high achieving students at a special dinner recently. The honorees had been named to the 2001-2002 dean's list, which includes students who have shown consistently high academic achievement throughout the designated academic year.

"The faculty is extremely proud of these outstanding students," said dean Keith De'Bell. "Their accomplishments speak not only to their academic achievement, but also to the quality of the faculty who teach them.

"These students are the researchers, health care professionals, computer technologists and engineers of tomorrow and, like the many UNB Saint John grads before them, are destined to make a significant difference in the province of New Brunswick and around the world."
