Jessica Yeates, a third-year biochemistry student at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, spoke of the importance of student bursaries during UNB's first Celebration Dinner held earlier this month. The sold out dinner raised more than $65,000 to fund bursaries for UNB students in need. Held at the Delta Fredericton, the gala event attracted friends of the university from four provinces.
