Desire2Learn Version 10 Upgrade Info

 On August 13th and August 14th, 2013, the University of New Brunswick will be upgrading to version 10.2 of Desire2Learn. During this two day upgrade the system will be unavailable to users at UNB.

  Desire2Learn version 10 has been developed to help improve the usability and appearance of the learning environment. There have been some significant navigation improvements, as well as a redesign of the "Content" tool which will make it easier for instructors to build their courses by using the new "drag and drop" method of importing files into the course via Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox broswers..There have also been some minor improvements to "Grades", "Dropbox" and "Discussions".

  The Video Note tool is also available in this release, as well as integration with the new Desire2Learn Binder App enabling learners to interact with course content on a tablet device.

  The ultimate goal of Desire2Learn Version 10 is to make the features within the system easier to use for both instructors and students.
