Setup Printing
To print to UNB printers you must:
- Install the Novell iPrint Client.
- Setup printer:
- Please ensure that you have completed the installation of the Novell
iPrint Client. These instructions can be found on the ITS website
under 'Set Up Printing'.
- Open an Internet browser (If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, please follow step 2a)
2a. Open browser as an administrator. (To do this, go to 'Start' -> 'All Programs' -> right-click on 'Internet Explorer' and select 'Run as Administrator’; select 'Allow' when prompted by User Account Control.) - Select the appropriate printer from the list found at the web address below:
- Select and click on the desired printer to be installed.
- If the iPrint ActiveX Control is not installed, a window will pop up : 'The iPrint client is not installed, do you want to install it now?', select 'Cancel'.

- Your browser will be redirected to a list of printers available. Click on the yellow bar on top of page and select ‘Run ActiveX Control’. Click 'Run'.

- Bookmark your current page using CTRL+D.
- Close your browser.
- Open an Internet browser (If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, please follow step 9a).
9a. Open browser as an administrator. (To do this, go to 'Start' -> 'All Programs' -> right-click on 'Internet Explorer' and select 'Run as Administrator’; select 'Allow' when prompted by User Account Control.) - Select the desired printer from the first column and click 'Yes' to install it now.

- When prompted, enter your UNB Login ID and password and click 'OK'.

- Click 'Yes' when asked to confirm action. Click 'OK' when printer is successfully installed.

- Please ensure that you have completed the installation of the Novell
iPrint Client. These instructions can be found on the ITS website
under 'Set Up Printing'.
- Verify printer installation:
- Upon successful installation, go to 'Control Panel' -> 'Hardware and Sound' -> 'Printer'.
- The newly installed printer should appear on the list.

- Purchase Print Credits.
