	These online services include web forms, web apps and other online services such as:

	- Account Activation
	- CT&amp;amp;D

	There will be an outage of the Datatel system on the morning of Sunday, May 13th from 6 AM until 7 AM.&amp;nbsp; This outage is necessary in order to upgrade Datatel UI to the latest version (4.3.2). This new version supports Silverlight 5 and will allow ITS to contact Datatel for additional support, should further connectivity issues be experienced.

	The only service affected will be direct access to Colleague through Datatel UI.

	Following this upgrade, before logging in to Datatel UI, please ensure that you see v4.3.2 in the bottom right-hand corner of the Datatel UI login screen.&amp;nbsp; If you see v4.3 you will need to clear your browser cache prior to login.&amp;nbsp; Please&amp;nbsp; contact your Level 1, the ITS Help Desk or follow instructions listed at http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache if you require assistance.

	the event of a prolonged power outage. Once rescheduled, a notice will be sent
	to faculty, staff and students informing you of the new date and time of the
	outage.

	On Sunday, May 6 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. (10 hours), all IT services will be unavailable during a planned power outage in Head Hall. This outage is the second of three scheduled outages that will allow Facilities Management to install a new generator that will power the ITS data centre in the event of a prolonged power outage. As a result, the following IT services will be unavailable during this time:
	
	- the myUNB Portal
	
	- Webmail

	- student connectEd email
	
	- library services requiring authentication (log in)
	
	- Datatel
	
	- WebAdvisor
	
	- CMS
	
	- eServices
	
	- Desire2Learn
	
	- Blackboard
	
	- Footprints
	
	While every attempt is being made to restrict the outage times to reduce impact to faculty, staff and students, extended outages are required due to the complexity and breadth of the work being done. The final targeted outage date that will also affect IT services is Sunday, May 13 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.&amp;nbsp; More information about this outage will be communicated once details have been finalized.
