Access from Off-Campus

Accessing Files

Access your files from any Web Browser with UNB's myFiles.

1. Login to the myUNB Portal.
2. From the Quick Launch menu, select ' MyFiles'.
3. Login with your UNB Login ID and Password.
4. Once you are logged in you will have access to both your personal (H:\) drive and your departmental drive (labelled as 'departmental_drive' in the MyFiles root menu).

Accessing Secure Services

UNB's Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows you to access UNB's secure IT resources from home as if you were on-campus.

1. Download and install UNB's VPN client.
   • Mac OS X Leopard/Snow Leopard
   • Mac OS X Lion/Mountain Lion
   • Windows 7
   • Windows XP
2. When prompted, enter your UNB Login ID and Password.
3. Once connected, you will be able to open 'My Computer' (for Windows) or your mapped drive (for Mac) and access your files (both H:/ and P:/ drives) as if you were on-campus.

Accessing Email and Calendar

Access your email and calendar from any web browser with Outlook Online.

1. Login to the myUNB Portal.
2. Under 'UNB Email', click 'Go to my email and calendar'.
