Installing UNB's VPN Client
1. Make sure you have uninstalled the old Nortel VPN Client from your computer before installing the new VPN Client. For instructions on how to do this, click here.
2. Log in to your myUNB Portal.
3. Click the VPN link in your Quick Launch menu.

4. Once the VPN website opens, click the 'Start' link next to 'Network Connect'.

5. A pop-up box will appear. Click 'Always'.

6. It will take several seconds or minutes to start your VPN client session. Once connected, a VPN icon will appear in your system tray. If you hover your mouse over it, it will show you as connected.

Problems Installing the VPN Client?
If your web browser does not install the VPN client properly, you can manually download the client by visiting the ITS Home Page and clicking on the 'Buy/Download Software' link and finding the appropriate VPN client for your operating system. When prompted, type: vpn.unb.ca .
