Installing UNB's VPN Client
1. Make sure you have the latest version of Java. Download the Java Update from Apple's Support webpage.
2. Log in to your myUNB Portal.
3. Click the VPN link in your Quick Launch menu.

4. Once the VPN website opens, click the 'Start' link next to 'Network Connect'.

5. A pop-up window will appear requesting access permission. Click 'Allow'.

6. A second pop-up window will appear asking you to download, install and execute software. Click 'Always'.

7. A third pop-up window will appear asking for your login information. Enter your UNB login ID and Password for your Mac computer.

8. A final pop-up box will appear showing Network Connect is connected and an icon of a lock will appear in your Doc. This Network Connect icon will also appear in your applications folder. You can reconnect by using the icon in your applications folder or going back through your myUNB Portal.


Problems Installing the VPN Client?
If your web browser does not install the VPN client properly, you can manually download the client by visiting the ITS Home Page and clicking on the 'Buy/Download Software' button and finding the appropriate VPN client for your operating system. When prompted, type: vpn.unb.ca .
