Student Employment

Student employees are an integral part of ITS. We currently have student employees working with our IT Service Desk, Repair Shop, Desktop Management Group, Print Services, Communications, and Networking Group. They even work on special projects during slower periods.

What does it take to become an ITS student employee?

Student employees must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Problem solving and analytical skills are also a must in this ever-changing world of computer technology.

Furthermore, we require that any student interested in becoming a student employee must have studied at UNB for at least one year and have a GPA greater than 2.6. If you are applying for work at the Saint John Campus, you must physically be able to lift or move up to 25 kilograms to assist with the delivery and support of audio-visual equipment.

If your are interested in applying for a student position at ITS, please send your cover letter and resume via email to ITS.
