Welcome to Fredericton!

We are happy to have you on our campus and hope that your stay here will be rewarding, both academically and personally. As well as meeting your Canadian counterparts on campus, you will find that there are International Students from over 65 countries here at the University of New Brunswick. To date as many as 97 countries have been represented.

You will probably have many questions about Canadian life in general and life at the University of New Brunswick in particular. The University calendar and the International Student Handbook should answer many of your questions. The International Student Advisor/CIDA Coordinator's Office, your faculty advisor and the counselling staff on campus are other sources of advice and information. Do drop in at the International Students' Office we are always willing to help and answer your questions.

Best wishes for your stay at UNB.

Kay Nandlall, Director
ISA/CIDA Coordinator's Office
