Requirements

Selection will be based primarily upon prior academic standing using standard NSERC requirements (i.e., GPA and then by assessing prior experiences, both work and within the community). 

Each WATER applicant is also asked to write a 1-2 page essay (2 pages maximum) indicating why they would like to participate in the program and how they feel the added training will benefit them and help to future their career objectives. If the demand is high, application letters will be used to assess, and select for, their level of motivation and general writing and communication ability.
