What's new about Summer Term 2013
For 2013, UNB has introduced one Summer Term replacing Spring, Intersession and Summer Session. The term runs from May through August.
Most students will not notice a difference. Under the single Summer Term, courses are available now for registration. The Summer Term will officially begin in May; however, courses will start at different times throughout the summer, in the same way they did last year.
The transition to Summer Term benefits you in several ways:
- Simplifies registration for full-term courses such as co-ops, internships and graduate courses
- Continues the flexibility of course offerings within the full Summer Term, providing options for students as in the past
- Courses taken through May-August will appear under one term on the transcript
Start planning your Summer Term now! Speak to your academic advisor and determine your Summer Term options! You may want to fast track your program, take pre requisites, or upgrade.
