The Fredericton Amateur Radio Club is a local organization that provides community service, such as free communications for the Run For The Cure and the Fredericton Santa Claus Parade.  If you have an event for which you would like free communications, please contact them.  Each year they offer an amateur radio training course, approximately ten sessions, once per week, three hours per session.  Additionally, they have examiners, certified by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, to provide amateur radio examinations.
