Training and Development Opportunities

The Department of Human Resources and Organizational Development, in cooperation with the Department of Lifelong Learning offers a number of training and development opportunities aimed at all faculty and staff. Some workshops take place in Fredericton while others are located in Saint John. However, all workshops are open to employees of both campuses and the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Development will assist with travel claims and car pooling arrangements. Most of the workshops are open to all staff and are of one day's duration. However, from time to time, the University develops a training program aimed at a specific group such as supervisors and invites those employees to register for that workshop. The training and development was developed following input from a group of employees and managers from both campuses and their input is sought from time to time on program offerings and other details.
