Function

This position is accountable for coordinating the administrative functions of the NB Social Policy Research Network, including managing the Network’s database of members, maintaining the website, the preparations of documents and overseeing the office operations, maintenance of records, marketing duties, coordination of Network events and providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Managing Director.
Representative Responsibilities
   Coordinate the administrative functions of the NB Social Policy Research Network (NB-SPRN).
   Answer phone and email and direct communications accordingly.
   Manage NB-SPRN’s membership database.
   Website content management.
   Order office supplies, equipment and services as required by the organization.
   Process and file all documentation, including but not limited to, financial forms such as purchase orders, invoices, cheque requisitions.
   Maintain administration of work plans and budgets as authorized by the Managing Director.
   Coordinate projects, activities and events.
   Regularly update the Network’s twitter and facebook accounts, monitor activities/policy related conversations and engage followers/fans.
   Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Managing Director, including assisting with schedules.
Requirements
   Bachelor Degree or Community College Diploma.
   Minimum of 3 years working in an administrative capacity.
   Experience dealing with confidential information is required.
   Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
   Event management and marketing experience is an asset.
   Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is required.
   Fluent, written and spoken English & French. Please state your language capability on your application.
