Function

Reporting to the Manager of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Fundraising Supervisor is responsible for a number of activities supporting the University of New Brunswick’s annual solicitation of donors. Responsibilities range from the personal solicitation of annual donors to the management of the Phonathan Program. The Annual Giving Fundraising Supervisor will oversee the hiring, training and mentoring of student callers. The incumbent must be available to work on weekends and evenings.
Representative Responsibilities
   Account management of high-level Annual Giving donors including personal solicitation and personal stewardship.
   Management of all Call Centre operations and management of Late Pledge Reminder program.
   Hiring and training student callers/fundraisers.
   Coach and mentor student caller/fundraisers to enhance their fundraising results.
   Develop and administer incentive programs for student callers/fundraisers.
   Respond to inquiries from donors.
   Management of customized and targeted fundraising campaigns.
   Develop and administer phone mail solicitations.
   Coordinate Annual Giving stewardship programs.
   Support online fundraising initiatives.
   Research and report preparation in support of annual fundraising activities.
   Develop solicitation messaging in collaboration with the Manager.
Requirements
   A university degree and a minimum of three years fundraising experience or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
   A minimum of three years supervisory/management experience.
   Fundraising and/or sales training experience.
   Experience in creating detailed activities reports.
   Experience in using analytics programs.
   Telephone solicitation experience.
   Excellent computer skills including a demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office.
   Experience working with fundraising software is a definite asset.
   Experience with Colleague Advancement is a definite asset
   Knowledge of the University community is a definite asset.
